WWE One Night Stand Card - PPV 6/1/08
Filed under: WWE PPV, ECW, SmackDown, RAW, WWE by Patrick O'BannonEdge vs. Undertaker - TLC Match for the World Title
HHH vs. Randy Orton - Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Title
John Cena vs. JBL - First Blood Match
Shawn Michaels vs. Batista - Stretcher Match
Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga - Falls Count Anywhere Match
Big Show vs. Chavo vs. John Morrison vs. Tommy Dreamer vs. CM Punk - Singapore Cane Match for the #1 Contendership for the ECW Title
Possibly: Kane vs. The Miz
One Night Stand is the one PPV of the year where every match is “Extreme Rules“. Basically its all of the matches we have seen on the last two PPVs, only now with gimmick matches. The card looks pretty, yes. But that doesn’t mean its going to be. If each one of these matches were on seperate shows, they could all be good to very good. The problem with every match having a stipulation is, you have to save stuff for the main event. You can’t go all out and leave nothing for the TLC match. The Singapore Cane match is going to be low on the card. Chances are someone (everyone) is going to take some cane shots, don’t you think someone would be busted open and bleed? But they can’t bleed. That has to be saved for the “First Blood” match. Look at the card, in reality, every single one of those bouts should have blood. But bleeding in every match, would make the FB match pointless. How the fuck are neither Taker or Edge not going to bleed? They are going to have to.
Then there is the Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Title. You expect me to believe that they aren’t going to use chairs? Maybe not, but does that even make sense? There are chairs everywhere around ringside, why wouldn’t they grab one and use it?
Why the fuck didn’t they just make every match no dq and have it be a surprise what weapons they use? I guess they think that giving the matches names makes them stand out more and make people want to buy it. Hopefully they aren’t let down when all of the matches don’t deliver because then they would be the same match, just different performers.
I will most likely be ordering it, because maybe it’ll surprise me and be good.

This clearly shows that Somoa Joe will indeed not be leaving TNA. Which clearly shows he will win his upcoming match with Angle. This has not been confirmed but something worthy to note.
